前坪村是闽清县三溪乡下辖的行政村，位于乡北部，距乡政府约8公里，地处闽清县与永泰县交界处。村子坐落在两县交接的最前沿，故名前坪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属寿宁乡孝顺里，清代属旌良乡，民国时期属玉文镇溪源保。1950年至1954年属坂东区的一个乡，1958年至1960年属坂东公社一个大队。[1][2]

1961年三溪公社重新组建时，前坪独立成立大队。1964年公社并入坂东公社，前坪也随之改归坂东统辖。1980年三溪公社再度设立，前坪重回其下；1984年7月三溪乡政府成立，本村转为乡属村民委员会。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

白岩山上有达摩崖，崖下建有古月朗和尚墓。墓前原有殿宇，早年已毁，今存石墙断垣和墓塔一座。[3]

山上另有海会墓塔，塔身碑面刻有「海会塔」字样，落款为光绪十五年所立。[3]

白岩山上的天岩桥为单拱石梁桥，石梁北侧刻有「天岩桥」三字，落款为民国三十二年。[4]
