樟里村位于上莲乡境内，村名来自村前樟岭上的两棵大樟树，原属后佳乡，2004年随后佳乡并入上莲乡[2]。
地名由来[edit]
村前樟岭隔上有两棵大樟树，村子坐落在樟树里侧，因此取名「樟里」。旧时村里用毛竹捣浆造纸，故又曾称「浆里」。「樟里」之名始于明清，沿用至今[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
明清时称十二都樟里。民国时属双兰乡的双秋园保。1950年划入第四区秋园乡；1958年改隶池园公社佳头大队。1960年起由佳头国营农场的第三分场管理；1963年另设樟里大队，归后佳公社；1984年7月才改为村委会，隶后佳乡人民政府[1]。2004年后佳乡并入上莲乡[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。2020年2月，本村入选福建省第三批省级传统村落名单[1]。
