福里村位于上莲乡境内，原属后佳乡，2004年随后佳乡并入上莲乡[2]。
地名由来[edit]
早年黄姓迁来此地时，在这里建了一座祠堂，名为「福里堂」，村名即取自此堂。这一名称始于明清，沿用至今[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
明清及民国时期，此地同样属尤溪县胡厝乡后寮保，处尤溪十九都。1950年隶尤溪县第十一区的后佳乡，1955年5月转归闽清第四区。1958年成立后佳大队，归池园公社。1960年划入佳头农场第四分场；1963年又归后佳公社下的街中大队。1975年从街中大队中分出，另设福里大队。1984年改为村委会，属后佳乡政府[1]。2004年后佳乡撤销，并入上莲乡[2]。
