下丰村位于上莲乡境内，因驻地所在的稻田洋而得名「下丰」[1]。
地名由来[edit]
早年蒋氏在一片洋田中开垦上下两块稻田，耕作方式相同，上片收成差，下片收成好，于是取名「下丰洋」。1961年设大队时，以驻地下丰洋为名，称下丰[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
明清时称十二都峰洋。民国时属双兰乡的石丰保。1950年隶石丰乡，归第四区，其后又划入池园区。到1958年，这里以上峰大队的名义归池园公社；1961年另设下峰大队，改归上莲公社。1964年再划回池园公社，1980年才更名下丰大队，并重归上莲公社。1984年改为村委会，隶上莲乡人民政府[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
