上丰村位于上莲乡境内，村名源于早年两姓在此耕作时上下田丰歉不一的旧事[1]。

地名由来[edit]

早年池、蒋两姓在此耕作，秧苗长势良好。收成时常见上坵丰收、下坵欠收，村名便取作「上丰」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时这一带称十二都峰洋。民国时设石丰保。1950年间设石丰乡，隶第四区，其后划归池园区。1958年，石丰大队归池园公社管辖；1961年设峰洋大队，改属上莲公社；1964年改名上峰大队，又回到池园公社；1980年定名上丰大队，属上莲公社。1984年改为村委会，属上莲乡[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，本村入选福建省第三批省级传统村落名单[1]。2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
