溪坪村位于上莲乡境内，村中有兰溪流过，村名便由此而来[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村中有兰溪流过，村民沿溪两岸的平坦地面建房，村名因而称「溪坪」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时这里称十二都。民国时设溪村保，隶双兰乡；1950年成为第四区溪村乡的一部分。1958年设溪村大队，归池园公社管辖，1980年改隶上莲公社。1984年，这里改设溪坪村委会，隶上莲乡人民政府[1]。

荣誉[edit]

本村在2019年12月入选第二批国家森林乡村，该批名单由国家林业和草原局发布[1]。本村于2022年10月列为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇[1]。
