竹柄村是云龙乡辖下的行政村，地处高山之中。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村址地处高山，山峰高耸陡峭，附近原本出产大量各类青竹，故称竹柄。[1]
明清时属二都竹柄。民国时并入柿竹保，归白台乡。1950年改设际竹乡，隶属第一区；1955年划入梅城镇，1956年转白樟区，1957年改由县直辖的云龙乡管理。[1]
1958年设柿竹大队，隶属红旗（白樟）公社；1959年设竹柄大队，归白樟公社；1961年划入云龙公社，1964年回归白樟公社。1984年改设竹柄村委会，仍归白樟乡政府；1987年8月重归云龙乡。[1]
