际下村位于云龙乡，村委会驻际下自然村，村名来自尾溪瀑布群下方的位置。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子处在尾溪瀑布群的下方，原称漈下，后简称沶下，再改称际下。[1]
明清时称二都漈下，民国时设际官保，归白台乡。1950年设际竹乡，隶属第一区；其后1955年归入梅城镇，1956年改入白樟区，1957年纳入县辖的云龙乡。[1]
1958年设际下大队，隶属红旗（白樟）公社；1961年划入云龙公社，1964年又归白樟公社。1984年改设村委会，仍属白樟乡政府；1987年8月重归云龙乡。[1]
2010年，村部从旧址迁入小学校园内，成为新村部。[1]
2021年11月，际下村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1] 2022年12月，绿化部门将「2022年福建省森林村庄」授予际下村。[1]
