溪芝村由溪坪、芝山两个自然村合并而成，村名各取两村一字组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代属奉政乡安仁里。解放初期归第二区溪芝乡，1955年改属东桥区溪芝乡。1958年设火箭公社溪芝大队，1959年归东桥公社溪芝大队。1963年一度分为三个大队，1964年又合为溪芝大队，此后保持不变。[2]

1984年，东桥乡政府成立，溪芝成为该乡属下的村民委员会，1991年起归东桥镇管辖。[2]
