大溪村濒临闽江，因村前江面宽阔而得名“大溪”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在1940年以前归闽侯县管辖，此后划入闽清。最初属梅城镇，其后经小樟、大樟两乡的辖区，1948年又回到梅城镇大安保。[2]

解放后，村境隶属一区、二区及东桥区的大安乡。1961年至1963年间独立设立大溪大队，1964年并入大安大队，1973年再度独立。1984年7月，大溪归入新设立的东桥乡政府之下；1991年起由东桥镇管辖。[2]

2021年12月，大溪村入选福建省第二批「高级版绿盈乡村」（乡镇）；2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将大溪村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
