历史沿革[edit]
宋代此地属奉政乡安仁里，元代称二十一都过阳村，清代为怀德乡过洋村，民国时隶属下洋乡东淮保。[1]
新中国成立后，村境先隶属东桥一带的乡，1958年起成为公社大队的一员。1984年7月东桥乡人民政府设立，过洋成为该乡属下的村民委员会。1991年起归东桥镇管辖。[1]
2023年12月，福建省爱卫办公示拟命名的卫生村名单，列入东桥镇过洋村；2024年1月，村子获评2023年福建省卫生村。[1][2]
