地理环境[edit]
村子主体在海拔约800米处，闽江水面将村与外界隔开，对外往来多靠渡船。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年称祥坑大队，1959年改为尚坑大队，1973年再次单独设立大队，此后长期不变。[3]
1984年7月，村成为雄江乡属村民委员会；1995年2月撤乡建镇后，村属雄江镇。[2][4]
人口民族[edit]
村中保留着约500年历史的古民居，居民以陈姓为主，祖先在元末明初由三明尤溪迁来。[2]
经济[edit]
当地出产乌饭果和洋萝卜。[2]
