柴岭村隶属福建省福州市闽清县省璜镇，位于镇东北面，距镇集镇约7.5公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传古时此地林木茂密，出产木材与柴炭，这些物资要经由山中一条古道运往八都桥头。山岭全长约5华里，路面为石土结构，人们便以柴岭称呼此山岭，村名由此而来。[1]
新中国成立后，该村先隶胜利乡，后改属下垅乡，1956年并入省璜乡；1958年属省璜公社玉岭大队，1961年改名柴岭大队。1977年省璜公社恢复，柴岭为其属下大队；1984年选举建乡，柴岭大队成为省璜乡属下的村民委员会。[1]
