三新村隶属福建省福州市闽清县省璜镇，位于镇境中南部，距镇政府驻地约2.5公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

农业合作化期间，三个初级社合为一个高级社，定名三兴。20世纪70年代，几个生产单位又合为一个大队，改称三新。[1]

元代隶八都，村名下厝坑；明代此地并入由五、七、九都与三都一部分组成的统一图；清代隶旌良乡，民国时属合龙乡下垅保。新中国成立后曾属胜利乡，继而归第六区、坂东区的下垅乡，1956年至1957年并入省璜乡。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村内有3个自然村，省璜至永泰、霞拔的公路穿越村境。据村情介绍，全村土地总面积5443亩，其中林地3914亩。[1]
