前峰村隶属福建省福州市闽清县省璜镇，村境临近梅溪。2021年12月，该村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子处在八都与十都的交界处，梅溪从村境流过，村前是一条大溪，村后连绵大山。历史上取名前荇，1973年为便于称呼，改名前峰。[1]

宋代属永宁乡盖平里，元代属八都的黄岩村；明代与周边数都合为一图，清代隶旌良乡，民国时为合龙乡省璜保。新中国成立初期隶属胜利乡及第六区，1950年代中期改属坂东区，1959年归塔庄公社前荇大队，1961年回归省璜公社，1973年改称前峰大队，1977年复属省璜公社。[2]
