谷洋村隶属福建省福州市闽清县省璜镇，位于县境南部的山区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子地处山区，四周群山环抱，中间是一片盆地式的小平原，故称谷洋。[1]

宋代属永宁乡盖平里，元代属十都。1958年改为谷洋大队，归省璜公社，1959年曾并入邻村的大队，1961年恢复；1984年省璜乡建立后，谷洋大队改为省璜乡谷洋村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内森林茂密，多产毛竹，建有两座水电站和一座水库。据村情介绍，村中林地9552亩，其中有林地7250亩，耕地613亩。[1]
