炉前村隶属福建省福州市闽清县省璜镇，位于镇东北部。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村前南面有一座山，山顶古时建有圆形寨堡，名为龙头寨，因寨堡形似香炉，山又位于村子之前，故称炉前。[1]
宋代属永宁乡盖平里，元代为十都炉前村，清代隶淳化乡公厝村，民国时属合龙乡周洋保。此后该村在省璜与塔庄两个公社之间数度调整隶属，1984年随省璜乡政府建立而成为乡属村民委员会，2000年12月乡改镇后隶省璜镇。[1]
