合龙社区是福建省福州市闽清县省璜镇下辖的社区，位于镇中心区，1984年设立，沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称出自合龙桥。据博雅地名网，此处周围群山环绕，两条山脉延伸至此汇合，在八都水尾大桥下汇入梅溪，古人称之为龙脉会合、两水会堂，因此在这里选址建桥，名为合龙桥。[1]

设立居民委员会后，因合龙桥在本地及全县有一定名气，遂命名为合龙社区居民委员会。社区设立于1984年。[1]
