秀洋村位于塔庄镇境内，村名经过数次更改，今称秀洋。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子位于七都隔下的第一个洋地，原名洋头。后因县内有同名的村，改称上洋；又因同名，再改为秀洋。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清称七都洋头，民国时属龙峰乡秀洋保。1950年隶秀龙乡，1956年办秀洋高级社。1959年设秀洋大队，归塔庄公社。[1]
1973年曾改名上洋大队，1980年因重名又恢复为秀洋大队。1984年起改为秀洋村委会，1993年后归塔庄镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，村子被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，获命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年2月，成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；2024年12月，被认定为「2024年度福州市绿盈乡村建设中级版村庄」。[1]
