秀环村位于塔庄镇境内，村委会驻秀环自然村。村子坐落在两座圆形山峦的脚下，风景秀丽，因此取名秀环。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清称五都秀环，民国时属龙峰乡秀洋保。1950年归第五区秀龙乡，1952年改隶第六区。1956年办秀环高级社；1959年曾作为核算队隶属秀洋大队。[1]

1973年设秀环大队，归塔庄公社；1977年一度并回秀洋大队，1980年才恢复。1984年起改为秀环村委会，此后于1993年划归塔庄镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

六叶祠的前身是「护国积善院」，原址在村内的凤栖山。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村子获命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
