历史沿革[edit]
明清称七都坪街。民国时设连坪保，隶龙峰乡。新中国成立后曾归黎濂乡，1957年办起坪街高级社；其后一段时间并在下庄大队之内。[1]
1973年才重新单设坪街大队，归塔庄公社。1984年起改为坪街村委会，1993年后隶属塔庄镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中保存有「三街六巷七家墩」的旧格局，另有钟英阁旧址（俗称八角楼）、「七都乡约所」，以及邦真厝、栋潮厝、国达厝等古厝。[3]
村东的冬畴寨是一座寨堡，占地2650平方米，建于清嘉庆年间（1796年至1820年）。寨内有大小房间和厅堂一百余间，外墙为夯土厚墙，墙内侧设有走马弄。据称主持建造的是郑梅英，寨名则因其长子黄冬畴而定。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2020年6月，村子经认定成为「福建省级乡村治理示范村」；2020年12月，入选「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」；2021年11月，获命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年11月，列入「2022年福建省金牌旅游村」名单；2025年11月，被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1][2]
