甲洋村位于塔庄镇境内，旧称葛洋，今名甲洋。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村中旧时长有一株粗大的葛藤，村名先叫葛藤垅，后改为葛洋。「葛」与「甲」在本地话中读音相同，于是定名甲洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

古时村子属下五都龙源境。民国前期划归崙洋保，后期改属坂边保。1950年曾归炉洋乡，1952年改入五区坂茶乡。1956年办起甲洋高级社，1958年并入炉洋大队。[1]

1959年又单设甲洋大队，属塔庄公社；1970年并入炉溪大队，1977年才重新分立。1984年起改为甲洋村委会，1993年后归塔庄镇。[1]
