梅寮村位于塔庄镇境内。村中旧有一座梅寮堂，村名由此而来，初名梅寮坪，后改称梅寮。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，村子属五都梅寮境。民国时村中大半属龙峰乡茶口保，土坑门、埔头、下边和但利洋则归坂边保，二者同属龙峰乡。[1]

1950年隶坂茶乡，1956年办梅寮高级社。1958年设梅寮大队，归坂东公社，次年才转入塔庄公社。1984年起改为梅寮村委会，1993年撤乡改镇后归塔庄镇管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年12月，村子获得「福州市2024年市级一村一品专业村」称号，主导产业为槟榔芋；2024年1月，获命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
