坂尾村位于塔庄镇境内，村名历经数次更替，今称坂尾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的沿革，据博雅地名网所载：元代以前村中住葛姓人家，地名叫葛蒲垄；此后陈姓居此，称作虞坂；清乾隆年间，黄姓迁入，建起车碓，村名遂定为坂尾。[1]
清代，本村属五都寿宁乡。民国时归龙峰乡的坂边保，1950年隶坂东坂茶乡。1956年办起坂尾高级社。1958年设坂尾大队，归坂东公社，次年改入塔庄公社。[1]
1984年起改为坂尾村委会，1993年后隶属塔庄镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，村子获命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
