历史沿革[edit]
明清时期，村子属下五都桂壶里；民国时归龙峰乡的茶口保。新中国成立后曾隶坂茶乡，1956年办起茶口高级农业合作社。1958年组建大队，归坂东公社管辖，次年才改入塔庄公社。[1]
1947年4月，闽浙赣游击纵队的左丰美部进攻龙峰乡公所，随后在茶口粮库开仓放粮。[1] 1984年起改为茶口村委会，1993年后改隶塔庄镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村东的盆地上有一座芝灵宫，民间也称它将军庙或茶口宫。它始建于清代，后经重修扩建；殿内佛龛以昭显侯为主神，也兼奉其他地方的神明。[5]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，村子入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单，产业为粉干。2024年1月，获命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
