车墘村是福建省福州市闽清县坂东镇下辖的行政村，村名与村边溪流及车碓有关。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，早年此地是一处山的边缘，周围被梅溪的两条支流环绕，溪边有车碓，于是取名车墘。[1]

1984年7月起由村委会管理，隶属坂东镇。1980年分出车墘大队；1961年设仁墘大队；1958年划归坂东公社墘上大队；1950年归第五区墘安乡；民国时属玉文镇墘安保。明清时称六都车墘。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2023年11月，车墘村被确定为2023年度福州市「绿盈乡村」建设中级版村庄。[1]

2024年1月，车墘村获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号。该村同时列入福建省爱卫办2023年12月的公示名单。[1][4]
