田地村是池园镇下辖的行政村。相传先人生活艰难，无钱购田，便自行开垦出大片稻田，后人为教导子孙珍惜土地，取村名为田地[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地名为十一都弓竹湾。民国年间归双芝乡管辖，1950年划入第四区。1963年设立田地大队；1984年7月起此地改组为村委会，归池园镇管辖[1]。
