仁周村是池园镇下辖的行政村。1949年以前村名作“灜洲”，取清净优美之意；因“灜”字笔画繁多，建国后改用与本地方言读音相同的“仁周”[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代，此地称十都灜洲坑。民国期间划归合龙乡。1950年一度属第五区的周洋乡；1952年5月隶属第六区周洋乡，同年8月转入第四区。1958年归池园公社，1959年设立仁周大队；1984年7月起，此地改组为村委会，并纳入池园镇[1]。
