井后村是池园镇下辖的行政村。村中有一口古井名为龙井，村内大姓吴氏的祖厝建在井的后面，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，此地属十一都，村名井后。民国年间设井后保，归双芝乡所辖。1950年此处组成井后乡，划入第四区，其后又归池园区。1956年成立井后高级农业生产合作社；1958年成为池园公社下的大队；1984年7月起改为村委会，隶属池园镇[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，井后村列入福建省第三批省级传统村落名单[1]。井后村自2024年1月起获得2023年福建省卫生村的称号[1][2]。
