历史沿革[edit]
明清两代，此地在地方编制中属十五都，名作鼎坑。民国时期归双芝乡管辖。1963年，顶坑大队从池园公社内析出，单独设立；1984年7月，此处改组为村委会，并纳入池园镇[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
凉门桥又称龙门桥，为清嘉庆年间所造，后经重修，形制是单孔石拱上架廊屋。桥身南北向，长18.2米、宽4.3米；廊屋设五间，桥头竖一块青石碑，上刻「龙门桥」字样[2]。
荣誉[edit]
顶坑村于2022年10月经福建省农业农村厅确认，进入第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇之列[1]。2023年12月，村里又以油茶入选福州市2023年市级“一村一品”专业村名单[1]。自2024年1月起，该村获得2023年福建省卫生村的称号[1][3]。
