叶洋村是池园镇下辖的行政村。据博雅地名网所载，先人自尤溪汤川坤门底龙源坊迁来定居，迄今已有450年，因旧时村中大树枝叶繁茂，故取村名叶洋[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

建国前，此地隶属尤溪县香山乡。1955年5月，叶洋所在地划入闽清县第四区[1]。1971年设叶洋大队，隶属池园公社；1984年7月撤销公社建制，改设叶洋村委会，属池园镇[1]。
