历史沿革[edit]
祖先早年由金沙迁入，为人诚实、重视忠善，并以此教导子孙，世代相传，村名便取“继善”之意[1][3]。
明清时称十四都；民国时设继善保，归金沙乡。1950年设继溪乡，隶第三区；1956年组建高级社，1958年建继善大队，隶红旗公社；1959年归白中公社，1984年设继善村委会[1][3]。
继善村于2021年12月获评「2021年度福建省森林村庄」[1]。
文化[edit]
村内有继善革命纪念室，村域内还有神龙井旅游景区，以及茶马古道等历史遗迹[3]。
