历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：相传古时有一位佛主名为普贤，村民为纪念他，便以此为村名[1]。
明清时称十五都普贤；民国时设普贤保，隶属清溪乡。1950年设福林乡，属第三区；1956年组建高级社，1958年建普贤大队，隶红旗公社；1959年归白中公社，1984年设普贤村委会，隶白中乡[1][2]。
普贤村于2021年12月获评「2021年度福建省森林村庄」[1]。
