历史沿革[edit]
村落坐落在一道山坡的前面，加上凤坂并入前坂的缘故，便定名为“前坂”[1]。
明清时此地属十五都，名为前坂。民国时划入前攸保，隶属清溪乡。1950年此地设前石乡，归第三区；1956年成立前坂高级社，1958年建前坂大队，归红旗公社。1959年改隶白中公社，1984年7月改称前坂村委会，仍属白中乡政府；1990年乡改镇，归白中镇政府管辖[1][2]。
2024年1月，前坂村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
