历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：村中原有一座土墩，形状像一颗圆珠，起初叫“珠墩”。因“墩”与“中”在本地方言里读音相近，后来演变为“珠中”[1]。
明清两代，此地归十五都管辖；民国时划入演珠保，属清溪乡。新中国成立后，1950年划归第三区白中乡，1956年组建高级社。1958年组建珠中大队，归红旗公社领导；次年改划入旧中台社。1984年，此地改称珠中村民委员会，仍属白中乡[1]。
