园头村位于福建省福州市闽清县白樟镇。[1]

相传村址原是一片森林，黄姓族人迁来后开垦成园地，种植甘薯和杂粮，并在园地上方盖起住房，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时设池园保，隶白台乡；1950年改称园头村，归第一区白樟乡；1957年转入高级社，属白樟区。[1]

1958年时属白洋大队的园头榜样队，1959年设大队，归白樟公社；1984年改为村委会，属白樟乡政府；1993年撤乡建镇后，归白樟镇。[1]

文化[edit]

园头村于2024年1月获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1][2]
