历史沿革[edit]
社区的前身是城关居委会。1965年改由梅城公社管辖，1973年又归城关镇政府管理。1982年8月，城关镇改名梅城镇，居委会也随之改称梅城居委会，隶属梅城镇政府。2005年以前辖区没有变动。[2]
2024年12月，社区上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
