牛澳村位于罗源湾东北部，三面环海，距碧里乡政府10公里，距罗源县城31公里[1]。全村面积18平方千米，辖一个自然村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子1984年改为村委会，属碧里乡。它的大队成立于1961年。明清时村址属贤一里，民国时期归鉴匹镇一带管辖[2][3]。

地理环境[edit]

村名的来历是：村北有草地，过去有农户以养牛为生，故称牛澳[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有尚书出生地旧址。村里的过溪宫，在清代改名为忠烈恩王宫，宫内建筑保存较完整[1]。村南有笔架山，山上的尚书墓、笔架石等也是村里的古迹[1]。

经济[edit]

村里的海产资源丰富，有天然海蛎、海螺，还产海带、紫菜和蜂蜜。鲍鱼养殖是村中的核心产业，据百度百科，村民以此为主要收入[4]。

文化[edit]

2021年，村子被拟命名为「福建省卫生村」；2022年，获评「福州市级一村一品专业村」[4]。
