碧里村位于罗源湾北岸，是碧里乡的乡政府驻地，全村有五个自然村[1][5]。村名的来历是：旧志写作“匹里”，村子在鸡母鼻丘陵的东北侧，口语称“鼻里”，后来改雅称为碧里[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子如今是村委会建制，这一格局自1984年起确立，此前为大队，大队建于1958年[3]。解放初，村址所在地划归第三区的碧里乡管辖[3]。再往前，明清两代村址属贤一里，民国时曾在第二区、第一区与鉴匹镇之间多次调整[3]。

地理环境[edit]

全村总面积10.29平方千米[1]，村内主要河流为碧里溪[4]。

经济[edit]

村民的主要收入来自水产养殖，农业种植只占次要位置[1]。

文化[edit]

村内有两所幼儿园、一所中学和一所中心小学[1]。2024年1月，村子获得「2023年福建省卫生村」的命名；2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将其认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」[1]。
