徐坪村是福州市罗源县霍口畲族乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境西北部，距乡政府约22公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

最早迁来此处定居的是徐姓人家，村子因此得名徐坪。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属林洋里；民国时期归第四区、第三区，并入福丰乡。1950年属东宅乡，隶第四区；1958年撤区改社，归霍口公社东宅大队。1961年复设区，隶东宅公社；1965年取消区级建制，仍归霍口公社。“文革”时期改为大队革委会，1983年起恢复大队管委会，1984年才改为村委会。[2]

人物[edit]

本村出了三名新四军战士：黄朝生（1917－1938）、黄则钟（1898－1938）与朱敬锐（1901－1938）。三人都在1934年参加闽东红军，后编入新四军三支队六团，均于1938年的作战中牺牲或失踪。[4]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
