佳湖村是福州市罗源县霍口畲族乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境西北部，西与闽侯县接壤。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子四面环山，地势如湖，因此雅称「佳湖」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时隶林洋里；民国时期归第四区、第三区，并入福丰乡。1950年属西峰乡，隶第四区；1958年成为霍口公社西峰大队的一部分。1961年分出佳湖大队，隶西峰公社；1965年取消区建制，仍归霍口公社。“文革”时期改为大队革委会，1983年起恢复大队管委会，1984年才改为村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
