西峰村是福州市罗源县霍口畲族乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境西北部。村名取自村西的一座山峰。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时隶林洋里；民国时期在第四区、第三区间变动，并入福丰乡。1950年设西峰乡，隶第四区。1958年改为霍口公社西峰大队；1961年归霍口区西峰公社，1965年取消区级建制后仍属霍口公社。“文革”间改名为东风大队革委会，1980年恢复西峰之名，1983年起称大队管委会，1984年才改为村委会。[2]

人物[edit]

万思银（1916－1938）为本村人。1937年参加闽东红军独立师，后编入新四军三支队六团北上抗日。他于1938年3月失踪于北上途中，1958年获追认为革命烈士。[4]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2020年6月，被确定为「罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）平安村（社区）」。[1]
