后宦村是福州市罗源县霍口畲族乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境西北部。村名的来历与祖先的期望有关。[1]

地名由来[edit]

相传先人想要显扬名声，希望子孙后代能够做官，村因此取名「后宦」。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属重下里，民国时期归第四区、第三区，并入福丰乡。1950年归王廷洋乡。1958年，本村改设霍口公社下的王廷洋大队；1961年又分出后宦大队，隶王廷洋公社；1965年并社后仍在霍口公社之内。“文革”期间改用前峰大队的名称，并设革委会；1980年恢复后宦之名，1983年起称大队管委会，1984年才改为村委会。[2]
