王庭洋村是福州市罗源县霍口畲族乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境北部，东与飞竹镇交界，距乡政府约5公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据百度百科，相传村中一大片田洋旧为王姓人家所有，故以王氏命名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里在宋代归霍口里，元朝改属霍口上里，明朝为黄重里所辖，清朝又归重下里。1974年村里建起小型水电站，1997年装上程控电话，1998年溪温大桥建成后才通公路。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2023年11月，被命名为「2023年度福州市绿盈乡村建设中级版村庄」；2021年8月，被确定为「罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）平安村（社区）」。[1]
