福湖村是福州市罗源县霍口畲族乡下辖的行政村，是一个畲族村寨，位于乡境东南部，南与连江县接壤。[1][5]

地名由来[edit]

村西有一片低地，溪水暴涨时常被淹成湖泊，村民取吉名「福湖」，寄望逢凶化吉。另有一说，广东畲族人来到湖边寻找福地，于是有了这个名字。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村域宋代属霍口里，此后元、明、清三代隶属多有变动。民国年间这里是革命老区，1934年建立过苏维埃政府。[4]

明清时本村属重下里；民国时期在第四区、第三区与福丰乡之间变动；1950年归霍口乡。1958年起成为霍口公社的生产大队，1961年分出福湖大队，1965年撤区并社后回归公社。1984年后改设村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2015年10月，福湖村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2017年3月，被国家民委命名为「第二批中国少数民族特色村寨」；2019年12月，入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单；2020年8月，入选「第二批全国乡村旅游重点村」名单；2020年12月，被确定为「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。[1]

村中保留畲族传统婚礼、祭祖、对歌等习俗，每年农历三月三举办民俗文化旅游节。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有8处清代古建筑群，以雷家大院、兰家大院为代表，建筑布局复杂，雕饰精细。村中另设畲族民俗陈列馆，并有武工队旧址。[5]
