溪前村是福州市罗源县霍口畲族乡下辖的行政村，村名因溪流在村前而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，本村属重下里。民国年间，本地归第四区与第三区管辖，并入福丰乡。1950年属霍口乡，隶第四区。1958年成立霍口大队，归霍口公社。1961年再度分区分社，另立溪前大队，隶霍口区霍口公社；1965年撤区并社后仍属霍口公社。1984年改设村委会，属霍口畲族乡。[2]

文化[edit]

省绿化委员会于2022年12月把本村定为「2022年福建省森林村庄」；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年8月，本村被确定为「罗源县第四轮第二批（2020年）平安村（社区）」。[1]
