洋坪村位于西兰乡北部，下辖1个自然村，距罗源县城约20公里。村中保存着一批明清时期的古民居，是西兰乡内较为突出的古村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村子附近有两块形状不同的石头，一块圆、一块平，俗称雌雄石。雄石属阳，村名原取「阳坪」，因阳与洋同音，遂改称洋坪。[1]

古村与古民居[edit]

县政府网站介绍，村中现存16座古民居，结构为杉木立柱、杉木梁板的土木砖石建筑。其中水头厝是村内最大的一座，对面厝则以四回廊八书院的格局著称。[2]

省级传统古村落的称号于2015年授予洋坪村。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，村庄被认定为2022年度福州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。2025年5月，村庄入选福州市2025年市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为乡村民宿。[1]
