蒋山村在西兰乡东北部，村内只有1个自然村，村域多为林地与山地。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村民觉得溪流尾端过于空旷、不利风水，便种树加以遮挡，称此处为「障山」，后来音转为蒋山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明至清末，此地归罗平里。民国时期归第三区管辖，同时属凤寿乡。1952年从原来的乡中析出，另设蒋山乡，归洋柄区。1958年村子改为蒋山大队，划入飞竹公社。1965年撤区并社后归西兰公社，1984年改设村委会，属西兰乡。[1]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办在2021年11月把蒋山村认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。蒋山村于2020年6月入选罗源县第四轮第一批（2019年）「平安村（社区）」名单。[1]
