车溪村又称龙溪，位于洪洋乡西部，南与西兰乡交界，属老区基点村，辖洋尾、上岩里2个自然村，村中畲族居民占多数。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村子在溪流西侧，附近山形如车轮，故称车溪。[1]

明至清末，本村属罗平里。1950年归五区管辖，1952年另设车溪乡，属八区。1958年改属飞竹公社，1961年分出另立车溪大队，属起步区的一个公社。1965年撤区并社，并入洪洋公社。“文革”期间改设大队革委会，1983年恢复管委会名称，仍归洪洋乡。[1]

经济[edit]

村内农业以毛竹抚育、种植水稻和蔬菜瓜果为主，毛竹林面积较大。[2]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
