厝坪村位于洪洋乡北部，属老区基点村，辖2个自然村，村内盛产茶叶与水果，多山地。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村子坐落在四面环山的小盆地里，地势平坦，当地习惯把平地称为坪，故名厝坪。[1]

明至清末，本村属罗平里；民国时期属五区、二区，又隶洪洋乡。1950年设厝坪乡，归二区。1958年撤区改社，此地改称厝坪大队，隶起步公社。1961年区级建制恢复，本村归起步区厝坪公社；1965年区级建制再撤，改归洪洋公社。“文革”期间设大队革委会，1983年恢复管委会名称，1984年起改设村委会，仍属洪洋乡。[1]

经济[edit]

村内山地肥沃，气候适宜，盛产茶叶、水果，多数茶叶由村民自产自销，畜牧养殖也有一定发展。[2]

文化[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2021年11月命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2019年12月，本村入选国家林业和草原局发布的第二批国家森林乡村。2023年2月，本村列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。2022年10月，省农业农村厅把本村认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1][3]
